IT department will order the change of your account from a Campus account to a Faculty account.
Once this change has been made, you will have 14 days to follow the steps listed below before your current Campus account will be terminated.
What you need to do during these 14 days:
Your Faculty Account will be a new account, so after the 15 of September you will receive a letter to activate this new account. This letter will be sent by ID (University Computer Services) to the secretary of your institute.
It is important that you receive the letter and activate your account as soon as possible to be able to configure the "forwarding rule" and "automatic reply" on your old Campus Account mailbox before the 14 days expire.
Receiving the activation letter and activate you new Faculty account.
As explained above, your account will remain active for 14 days after we order your new Faculty account. If you activated your new Faculty account , you can simply forward important messages from your old campus account to your new faculty account. Please note that by forwarding your old messages to the new Faculty account, the original messages will appear in the faculty account mailbox with the date you forwarded them, rather than the original date they were received in your old campus account.
Whether or not you already activated your new Faculty Account, you can make a backup of your old messages from your old Campus Account anytime before the expiration date (14 Days after the order of your Faculty account) using Thunderbird.
